I've been on the look out for the longest time, and each time I happen on something that looks really fun or something I'd want to get in on, it's either winding down or completely dead. 
I've been out of touch for years, and now that I'm graduated I could use an awesome community to roll around on and draw for.
I've been unable to find a directory on DA, forum rps seem hit and miss and I really don't want to do play-bys, getting into an IRC rp is sort of like getting into Fight Club, and so I've been leafing through DA rps link by link- but I encounter the above dilemma more often than not.
As for genres, I'm really open to most things. Diversity is nice, I like challenges. I'd love something biological horror, but I'm open to anything. Really my dream RP would be something similar to something I saw on gaia once- it was Island of Dr. Moreau style where OCs were being experimented on and released back onto an island, but the community was pretty hardcore drama'd early on and I never got to get in on it. I've had a few ideas of my own over the years but I don't think I would want to run a community at the moment.

Come September I’ll be moving, which conveniently aligns with the end of the current chapter on my webcomic, Eagle Ordinary. I’m looking for some guest artists to fill the empty space and give me time to recover and settle in.
The comic’s based on Warhammer 40k, and you’d be welcome to really do anything in that realm, though involving the current cast would be great. Also happy to let folks run with character backstories if they prefer. I’ve got em written up somewhere.

Doing some quick commissions for cat-bro (Full!)
A delightful acquaintance of mine known as *Sarspax (https://www.deviantart.com/sarspax) has been having some rough bills recently from getting his kitty, Toby, into surgery to fix some toe-issues. Having been where he is with my own pet in the past I know how much of a scary and stressful process it can be, so since I've got a bit of spare time over the next couple days so I'm going to be taking a few commissions to help him get over the hump.
Since I've only got limited time, I'll be doing either shaded sketches (waist up) for $15 or a painted headshot for $25. An extra person is +$10/$15 respectively. Sketch refs are highly encouraged, nothing is off the table.

I love me some fandom RP. Original universe RP has never really been my thing, I like playing with established settings. P: Ever since I was a teeny babby playing horrid Mary-sues, even, RP has been a hobby of mine.
Currently my RP love (2 years and going at that!) is a neat little Soul Eater-based OC RP called 42 42 564 ([link]). We write over the top and ridiculous action and merrily slaying evildoers and eating their remains, all that good stuff you'd expect from an SE-based thingy.
Funny enough, I was referred there from dA, actually. I made a fandom OC randomly as I am wont to do, and one of the members there commented me asking if I RP'ed at all. I said I hadn't in a while but I could take a crack at it.
So I joined up and had fun times, and a dude joined up a little while later who I totally hit it off with and now our characters are pretty much a seriously funny and/or badass moron duo. Though my main man partner has the patience of a saint for me putting our current RP on hold for another fandom's hype ;-;
Anyhow... enough war stories from me. I hear Tumblr is a good place to look if you're curious to find RP. Good old Google is also a powerful tool. Really there's plenty of RP to be had, I think you just have to be persistent and know where to look.
